My journey as a quilter started as a wish over 35 years ago. I didn’t own a rotary cutter or a cutting mat, but I so badly wanted to make a quilt after I was inspired by a layer cake I saw in a quilting store. It was a challenge pack of batik squares that local quilters were cutting up and making into gorgeous quilts. The fabric was so incredible that I was too afraid to cut it for fear I would ruin it, so all I could manage to do was to sew them all together in a basic patchwork format. It was the first quilt that I finished when I finally got my long arm, and I cherish it because it signifies my beginning. Experts aren’t born. It takes years of practice to develop a skill or a craft. Where are you on your quilting journey? You might be at the beginning, or you might be an expert quilter. Regardless of where you are, I can assist with your quilting journey. Some quilt projects can take a long time, while others are super quick. Regardless, the quilting process can be seen as the longest part of the journey. Let me help you with the home stretch. I sew it, and then it’s done. Sew Done!
